Biggest Agrarian Cooperative of France to Cooperate with Georgia

Deputy Agriculture Minister Giorgi Khanishvili has met with Jean-Francoise Berger, agrarian development manager of AXEREAL cooperative.

At the meeting the parties discussed opportunities for production of cereals seed materials and bio production development in poultry field.

For the purpose of providing Jean-Francoise Berger with detailed information, the meeting was also held with producers of poultry meat and cereals seeds materials.
As part of the visit, the Deputy Minister and the French manager visited cereals drier and storing complex – LLC Lomtagora equipped with modern technologies. 

AXEREAL manager has expressed readiness for cooperation and offered Georgian entrepreneurs to test new French grain varieties.

Jean-Francoise Berger noted that Georgia has huge potential for bio production of cereal seeds. 

The French cooperative that unites 13 000 members is one of the biggest cooperatives in France and it unites production of poultry meat, egg, seed materials and forage.
