Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with Belarus President Aleksandre Lukashenko at the Presidential Palace in Minsk.
At the meeting the Belarus President noted Georgia and Belarus should further deepen and expand trade relations.
“This will be the first step we will take in the near future”, Aleksandre Lukashenko told the Georgian Prime Minister.
As for our economic cooperation – our primary goal is to ensure that annual turnover if 200 million USD and we have to take first steps in the near future. I am glad you are here. I would like to emphasize that you are no strangers to Belarus and we have been supporting the policy of friendship between our countries,”Alexander Lukashenko noted.
