“I should name a record figure – investment of over 3 billion, 800 EUR on per capita”, – regional director of EBRD has announced on the unprecedented contribution to Georgia, which is a respond of important reforms for the second stage of country’s development.
Bruno Balvanera estimated excise growth in the context of European integration with TV-Pirveli. He noted that price increase has an impact on the luxury things. He also linked corporate tax cuts to EBRD’s initiative.
He drew a parallel with Peru in order to explain the prospects of new initiatives, where transformation gave the positive results. In addition, he noted that EBRD merely observes the process.
As for the future plans of EBRD, he declares that the bank continues partnership with the private sector through the banking sector, which is solid and well-structured with optimal channels to the business. The European Bank will be more focused on expand the channels with small and middle business. However, energy, agriculture and capital market are remained as priority sectors.
