Azerbaijan, Georgia Discuss Transportation Development Problems and Prospects

A meeting of the mixed commission on international road transport between Azerbaijan and Georgia was held in Tbilisi.

According to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Minister Habib Hasanov, and Georgia by Director of the Land Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mikheil Khmaladze at a two-day session.

“During the meeting, the sides discussed current situation with road transport between Azerbaijan and Georgia, exchange of statistical data, problems of carriers related to passenger transportation and cargo transportation and ways to solve them, development prospects, etc.,” the ministry said.

At the end of the meeting, the final protocol was signed.
