Armenians Prefer to Vacation in Georgia in July

Armenians prefer to vacation in Georgia. According to Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs data, 181,000 citizens of Armenia visited Georgia in July. This figure is by 11,9% more compared to the same period of last year.

Azerbaijan occupies the second place, with 160,200 having visited Georgia, 7,9% more compared to last year. Turkey ranks third per tourism to Georgia – 152,000 Turkish citizens have visited the country in July, which is 12% more than in the previous year. Russia occupies the fourth place: 140,300 Russians have vacationed in Georgia in July, which is more by 6,6% compared to last year’s figure.

In total, 737,700 people have visited Georgia in July.
