LEPL Technical and Construction Supervision Agency of Ministry of Economy of Georgia has issued a permit to Anaklia Development Consortium for the first phase of the Anaklia seaport construction and exploitation (N201-04; 30.10.2017).
At the same time, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia, based on environment impact report by Anaklia Development Consortium, has passed positive ecological conclusion (N77; 27.10.2017).
“The mentioned Ministries have timely issued the necessary permits and enabled us to timely and promptly launch the seaport construction works. Long preparatory works were performed before. We have prepared many important documents and we have finished each of them in the given period.
Today we have all necessary documents and permits to launch construction works and receive the first ship at Anaklia seaport in 3 years”, Anaklia Development Consortium director general Levan Akhvlediani said.
Anaklia deepwater seaport construction will start on December 20, 2017.
