70% of Business Turnover Comes on Tbilisi

The volume of business sector turnover increased by 19.7% in the third quarter of 2017, to 18,6 billion lari.

The growth trend is characterized by the output of the business sector products. In the III quarter of 2017, its volume was determined by 10,1 billion GEL, which exceeds the indicator over the past year by 23%.

In the third quarter of 2017, 41.2% of total turnover of business comes on large businesses, 23,1% – on medium, while 35.7% – is distributed on small businesses.

According to the Geostat, Tbilisi leads total turnover with the 70.2%. Adjara AR – 8.1%, Kvemo Kartli – 6.1%, Imereti – 4.6%, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 3.1%.

As for the total output of production, Tbilisi once again is a leader with 65% share, Adjara AR – 8.9%, Kvemo Kartli – 6.9%, Imereti – 5.2%, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 3.7%
