Working Places Grow in Georgia’s Labor Market

Employment agencies talk  about a 15% increase in the number of vacancies, compared with 2015.

 HR.ge told Commersant agency that  this growth can be regarded as a positive indicator.

According to the company’s Director  Inga Shakhbazyan, in March growth of proposals was very noticeable while in recent period  has decreased, as economic activity reduces in the pre-Easter period, but is expected to rise again in May.

“Jobs growth is related to several factors. In particular, new companies start operating on the market which trying to find employees through special sites. The biggest demand is observed on the sales professionals , the hotel and restaurant business has become more active as well. Currently 1 895 jobs are posted  on our site ,”- says  Inga Shakhbazyan.

Online agency dasakmeba.ge also talks about the growth of the number of jobs by 15-20%.

In the words of Ekaterina  Sesikashvili,  the head of the company, at the beginning of the year growth was fairly insignificant, but already in March  new jobs have been posted  which is associated with the entrance of new companies into the country.

 “The biggest demand is recorded  on the sales specialists  followed by the staff of beauty salons. Thenumber of vacancies will probably increase in the near future mainly due to the demand from the tourism business, “- she notes.
