Willis Towers Watson: Global Multinational Insurance Brokerage Company Opens in Georgia

Willis Towers Watson a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth has entered Georgian market. With roots dating to 1828, Willis Towers Watson has 39,000 employees in more than 120 countries.

After one year of negotiations, company acquired Gras Savoye Georgia and fully occupied market and intends to offer customers traditional and different kinds of services.

“We aim to offer our customers not only insurance services, but also employee satisfaction researches and advisory services,” Director of Gras Savoye Georgia Kera Pavlenishvili said.

Company representatives Homi Motamed and Hanan Ben Moshe visited Georgia in August, and have met with the Finance Minister, Nodar Khaduri. They are presently funding energy projects in Georgia, and have also expressed interest in investing in the insurance and risk management sector.

According to the representatives of Willis Towers Watson, Georgia is interesting market and they see quite big potentials: “I think Georgia is progressive and developing market, and it is among those countries that start new era towards development. Our experience would help Georgian insurance sector to work on similar projects. We believe we could make many things for Georgian economy in sense of insurance,”John Graton said.
