Transportation through New Silk Road will be Cheaper by 30%

Minister of Ukrainian Infrastructure responds the enactment of  tariffs in the corridor of new Silk Road.

Vladimir Omelian has already informed Ukrainian shipping companies with his Facebook page, that transportation of cargo by Ukraine-China route gets cheaper by 30%.

“The agreement is achieved on decline of complex rates on the transportation, 40 foot containers from 5500 USD to 4,000 USD at the route Izovi-Chinese border”, – Omelian reports.

Tariffs are the key factors for Ukrainian shipping companies, it will become economically profitable.

The mentioned corridor includes Ukraine – Black Sea – Georgia-Azerbaijan – Caspian Sea – Kazakhstan – China.

The agreement on tariffs has been achieved on May 17. However, Germany considers the same rout for cargo transportation from China.
