There are negotiations going on for the project of Solar Power plant construction in Gardabani.
In general, as solar power becomes a bigger and bigger part of the overall energy landscape, engineers around the world are busy working out how to build plants that are large and efficient enough to keep up with demand.
Davit Shariqadze, who is the head of the Energy Department at Ministry of Energy of Georgia, announced to”businesscontact“, that the technical project which was presented by one of the investor was positively estimated. Thus, right now negotiations are going on between the parties.
“This is 50-megawatt power station. Its average annual output will be around 120 million kilowatt – hours. The project envisages the investment of 120 million dollars”, – said Sharikadze.
According to him, the electricity that will be captured will only be consumed on Georgian electricity itself.
In addition, the investor company is Headwall Ppower International.
