On August 21 Georgia-China business forum opened at Tbilisi Marriott hotel. The event is organized by Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and China Council for Promotion of International Trade.
As part of the Forum about 80 businessmen arrived in Tbilisi from Gansu Province.
The business forum is being held with the participation of China Council for Promotion of International Trade, local self-government of Gansu Province and business delegation of China. Georgian companies are able to meet representatives of business sector of China and discuss future cooperation issues.
The following fields are represented at the Forum: agriculture, mining industry, engineering, information technologies, tourism, real estate, aviation, pharmaceutics, construction materials, spares, fitness equipment, ceramics, logistics, chemicals, home appliances, hotel industry, irrigation systems.
Nato Chikovani, deputy director general of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vu Lisia, vice president of China Council for Promotion of International Trade, opened the Forum. At the forum, Georgian Party will introduce Georgia’s investment potential. Representatives of People’s Republic of China, Georgian Railway and Gansu province self-government will deliver speech at the Forum.
As part of the Forum, the Parties will sign a memorandum on mutual cooperation for enhancement of economic and commerce relations and implementing joint projects.
