Tbilisi City hall will offer free of charge working space to startupers at Nadzaladevi multimedia library.
Viktor Tsilosani, deputy head of Tbilisi City Hall economic department, told BM.Ge that the project’s value is 1 million EUR and a half part of it will be financed by EU. The project is expected to start in late September.
Nadzaladevi multimedia library was given a preference because of its huge space and 60 beneficiaries are able to work simultaneously there.
According to the project conditions, Tbilisi City Hall will finance a writing of business plan of 152 startupers for the next 4 years, assist them in attracting investors and organizing exhibition-sales.
“The main thing is that not Tbilisi City Hall, but a specific company will select 152 startupers and we will announce competition in the near future. The winner company will be obliged to select business ideas of 152 startupers and write a business plans for them, assist in attracting investors. This will be a key obligation”, Tsilosani said.
A special website will be introduced in the near future, where applicants will be able to pass registration, Tsilosani said.
“Everybody is welcome to pass registration. To this end, startupers should shape their business idea in about 200 words. After this they will be able to work in Nadzaladevi multimedia library for 2 months, where we will assign marketers, accountants, lawyers and HR, who will assist applicants to polish their business ideas. After 2 months the competition winner company will select 152 startupers, write a business plan for them and assist in attracting investors”, Tsilosani said.
