“Our agreement with the Government is not a one-sided document. This is a normal investment agreement”, Gela Gozalishvili, a representative of TAV Georgia company, noted in response to aviation field expert Iase Zautashvili, who calls the agreement a losing document and proposes to revise it.
Iase Zautashvili criticizes the article that bans a new airport construction within 150 km range from Tbilisi International Airport.
“You will find no other sample, when a foreign company obliges the country to deprive businessmen of the right for building an airport in the country”, Iase Zautashvili said.
“Even if this argument was correct, you should not blame TAV. I am an investor and I have my conditions and it is upon you to accept them or not”, the TAV Georgia representative noted.
