Anaklia Port partner and the largest terminal operator SSA Marine is starting to work actively in Georgia.
Karl Roger Sahlin, Vice President of the Company and Chief Engineer Ricardo Cheng has visited Georgia.
Representatives of the company will discuss the plans of Anaklia Port construction jointly with the management of Anaklia Development Consortium.
“We arrived in Georgia in order to build Anaklia Deep Water Sea Port jointly with our partners. From now, we’ll be involved in all the working processes linked to the port. Anaklia will be the most modern deep-water sea port in the Black Sea basin,” said Karl Roger Sahlin, Vice President of SSA Marine.
According to the senior engineer of the SSA Marine, the company will conduct large and important jobs in Georgia.
“We have to create the best team, which will focus primarily on Georgian youth, in order to become the new ports’ modern operational and engineering specialists,” said Ricardo Cheng.
As known, Anaklia Development Consortium named SSA Marine as operator of Anaklia Port in June, 2017. It is the second largest company after Konti Group, which makes significant investment in the construction and development of Anaklia Port.
