Samsung to Sew Clothes in Georgia

Laura Ghachava is preparing to sign a contract with Samsung.

The business lady says that Samsung’s representatives have already liked their samples, including jackets. They were visiting Georgia and saw the factory. Laura Gachava is expecting representatives of South Korean company in the nearest 10 days and announces signing of a contract.

“At this stage, we are going to sew 15,000 different kinds of products as samples and then we will get a bigger order,”- Gachava said and added that it would be necessary to add staff to a larger order.

At this stage, 220 people are working at the factory and Gachava is planning to take additional 200 employees in case of large order.

It is noteworthy that the largest Korean holding SAMSUNG is represented in the textile and fashion industry since the 1950s. The subsidiary of Samsung C & T Fashion Group was founded in 1954. Today, the company is a leading company in the fashion industry and it stood at the development of fashion industry in Korea.
