The reconstruction of the Sarajishvilis House Museum in the village of Bakurtsikhe has been completed, with the addition of a new 12-room hotel to the museum complex.

The opening ceremony of the renovated museum complex was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili who visited the restored house museum and the new hotel. The Head of Government expressed hope that the house museum, with its historical and architectural importance, will become one of the most enticing attractions on the tourist map, especially wine tourism. He thanked Black Sea group for their work to this end. According to the Prime Minister, the company has spared no effort to keep every detail in its original form.

“Georgia has just acquired another hub of cultural heritage and tourist attraction. This is where the production of Georgian cognac started. It is a very important place, and it is commendable that this place has been fully renovated in its original form by Black Sea Group, with supervision from the Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation. The construction of an additional small hotel and arrangement of vineyards on five hectares of land is also planned here,” the Prime Minister stated.

Relevant renovations have been carried out at the Sarajishvilis Museum Complex, Hotel, wine cellar, and residential building.
