A new company plans to launch operation in the oil products retail sector of Georgia. Portal, the oil products distribution company, plans to organize its own retail chain in Georgia.
According to the project, the first fuelling station will open in Tbilisi, in the Navtlughi area, in 2-3 months. The company will open 3 other fueling stations until 2017.
The company representative Elene Khukhashvili noted the company will operate with competitive tariffs on the market.
PORTAL owns two terminals in Georgia and provides wholesale supply of oil products. The company imports diesel from Azerbaijan and petrol – from Romania and Bulgaria.
Before the retail chain arrangement, the company offers retail and wholesale coupons to consumers. The coupons may be exchanged at the partner SOCAR network.
