Number of Vacancies Grew by 30% in 2017

Quantity of vacant positions rose by 30% in 2017, Inga Shakhbazian, regional manager for HR.GE employment portal told Business Contract. Growth tendency was recorded in January-February 2017, as compared to January-February 2016.

The following fields are leaders in number of vacant positions:

  1. Commerce – 23%
  2. Clients service – 11%
  3. Banking sector – 8%
  4. Healthcare – 6.5%
  5. Accountancy/finances – 5%
  6. HoReCa sector – 4%.

The position of an accountant-operator is the most popular vacancy. The position of a sales manger ranks second and the position of an expert of bad loans ranks third.

The vacant position of an expert of bad lonas was the most popular in 2016 and every month about 15-20 vacancies were announced on the mentioned position, unlike previous years.

“In 2014 no vacancy was recorded on the mentioned position, several ones were announced in 2015, while 15-20 vacancies were announced a month in 2016”, the HR.ge regional manager noted.
