Number of bitcoin users in Georgia has grown by 400 percent in just two years, whereas it is increased by 130% compared to the year of 2016, Forbes Georgia reports.
As for company eMoney, from the next week, Georgian consumers will have opportunity to trade with Litecoin. Company also plans to add other cryptocurrencies from this summer. Company director Nika Chilindrishvili says that, volume of bitcoin transactions in Georgia is quite diverse – consumers are performing as well large transactions as small ones.
“Representatives from different fields are similarly acting actively towards this issue. There are people who just purchase bitcoins and wait cryptocurrency to increase to then sell it. Also our consumers are people who produce bitcoin themselves and then exchange into different currencies through eMoney,”Nika Chilindrishvili says,
