A new Georgian airline will be established in Georgia, Guram Jalaghonia, head of the civil aviation agency, told the Business Contact.
He abstained to divulge detailed information, but noted that the new Georgian airline will be established by foreign investment and Boeing airplanes will fly under Georgian banners. The airline will be founded by the end of 2016, Jalaghonia said.
“I would like that the aviation sector comprise several passenger airlines, offer alternatives, ensure valuable competition. Very pleasant tendencies are outlined. There is much chance that a new Georgian airline be established through attracted investments. We expect that the new airline will be founded by the end of 2016”, the civil aviation director noted.
