Mirian Gogiashvili has been appointed a director of Partnership Fund’s subsidiary that has been established to promote maximally efficient and profitable sectors and projects.
Gogiashvili told BM.Ge that Sectoral and Regional Development Company of Georgia is a subsidiary of Partnership Fund.
The company is to identify sectoral priorities and their regional dimensions for accelerated economic development, as well as to initiate, disucss ideas for due business projects and then submit the selected projects to Partnership Fund.
The subsidiary will make focus on agriculture, processing industry, production of construction materials, chemical industry and so on.
Currently, about 30 projects are being discussed at the Sectoral and Regional Development Company of Georgia. Seven ones have been approved by Partnership Fund’s investment board and now funding details should be resolved, Gogiashvili said.
