Bajo company plans to restore leather manufacturing company in Kutaisi.
The plant was built in the 1980s and it will be fully reconstructed by investing 80 000 GEL bank credit.
Bajo founder Gocha Grdzelishvili told GBC that the company plans to replace imports by domestically produced leather. A part of the product will be used by Rainbow, a subsidiary footwear manufacturer, which has been successfully operating on the market since 1990s. Another part will be supplied to other manufacturers.
After the plant reconstruction, the company will process 50 tons of leather and receive 40 tons of finished product a year.
