Chairman of Supervisory Board of Georgian Railway expects the results of modernization of Silk Road Corridor in the near future.
“We expect several dozens of trains from China this year. In addition, the agreements are already reached on the tariffs in a multilateral format. All measures are taken for prevention of all barriers and modernized corridor is not considered locally, although integrated, global transport logistic chain”, – Koka Guntsadze has declared to GBC.
According to him, positive expectations are based on several characters, joint tariff policy will be some kind of consolidation of the countries. The matter concerns to the integration of China, Danube basin countries. Guntsadze focused the attention on the increased interests of sanctioned Iran in the development of Persian Gulf and the Black Sea corridor.
