Kazakh developer, founder of corporation Basis, who has been named by Forbes Kazakhstan among the 50 most influential persons, Alexander Belovich is interested in investing throughout Georgia.
Kazakh Ambassador to Georgia Ermuhamet Yertysbayev told Sputnik-Georgia. The Ambassador noted that the Kazakh businessmen are interested in building hotels in Georgia, as the tourism business is viable.
“Many businessmen are contacting me and asking where to purchase land in order to build a hotel. Yesterday I spoke with the head of Kazakhstan’s largest construction company, Alexander Belovich. He builds much in Astana, Almaty. We talked. Soon, he will come here, to begin a study of the market “, – the ambassador said, noting that Georgia is the only country, which Kazakhstan had invested.
He believes that making investments in Georgia is profitable.
“For example, we have built a hotel in Likani, which major share is owned by KazMunaiGas. We can sell it and earn money, or the Batumi Sea Port – there we have a terminal”, – said Yertysbayev.
