“The reforms taking place in Georgia over the recent years, the changes carried out by the prime minister and his government are a great stimulus for us, as the industrial players on the Georgian market. We have observed how conducting business has been simplified for the international investors in Georgia, and how the bureaucracy has been significantly reduced. It is evident for us that eliminating corruption is a high priority within this context and there will be zero tolerance towards this issue per our internal policies as well. We are happy to observe immense progress in this direction in Georgia” – Jean-Yves Charlier, Chief Executive Officer of VEON at Strategic outlook: Eurasia discussions held within Global Economic Forum.
