Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Italian Chamber of Commerce Union (Union camere) signed a memoramdum of collaboration. The document aims to deepen economic and trade relationships between two countries and exchange information and organize joint projects to connect Georgian and Italian business sectors.
Collaboration Memorandum was signed in Rome, Italy at the business forum which was held in the frame of the visit of Georgian Prime Minister.
The main aim of the business forum is to promote economic connections between Georgian and Italy. The meetings will take place in B2B format and there will be following topics discussed: Tourism, infrastructure, industry, agriculture. There will be Italian companies and organizations which support international business, such as: Confindustria, ICE, SACE, SIMEST, Unioncamere and etc.
In the frame of the visit of Prime Minister, it has been decided that in May, 2017, Italian business mission will visit Tbilisi. Representatives of large Italian companies from the mission will learn more about investment environment in Georgia.
