IBM company has become an official partner for Silicon Valley Tbilisi Challenge VOL3, the third students hackathon.
The event is held on annual basis for students of Business and Technology University and is to reveal the best IT group for various tasks in limited timeframes. The third hackathon’s task is to integrate research projects with digital technologies. In 2009 IBM company purchased the world’s major analytical software SPSS for statistical processing of research projects, and expressed interest in partnership with hackathon and shows support to the winner team in product development and sustainability.
In 2017, in Tbilisi Space of Silicon Valley Tbilisi, as part of Google Weekly, Silicon valley Tbilisi Challenge was held and Softline Georgia was official partner company. The hackathon participants have worked on the issue for two days – education and digital technologies and all five members of the winner team were awarded by personal computers.
As part of Silicon Valley Tbilisi Challenge VOL3 to be held in 2018, partnership details will be revealed later. At this stage, students team are being shaped.
