The opening ceremony of Rustaveli Boutique Hotel will be held in the historic building on Freedom Square N4 in Tbilisi, at 16 o’clock on August 25.
The hotel was constructed by initiative of Georgia-Israel Chamber of Business and by private Israeli investment. The hotel’s interior is based on motives of the Knight in Tiger’s Skin.
The opening ceremony will be attended by representatives of the government of Georgia, Tbilisi Mayor David Narmania and players of Tel Aviv Maccabi Israeli basketball team. Suites of the hotel were named after heroes of the eternal poem, as well as after translators of this poem. The interior gives special place to monumental stony figures of Shota Rustaveli and Tarieli. One of the walls also depicts eternal aphorisms in three Languages (Georgian, English and Hebrew).
The hotel entrance was coated by Jerusalem stone delivered from Israeli. The most ancient edition of the Bible’s Torah has been preserved in a special place within the first two pills, as well as a manuscript of the Knight in Tiger’s Skin poem.
The investor has also arranged a library, where guests are able to read literature about Georgia and Israel, foreign translations of the poem, monitors broadcast video materials about Georgian culture, art, archeology and tourism potential.
Fresh, a new cafe-gallery, will serve guests and Tbilisi visitors, and offer only healthy dishes. Chefs specially invited from Italy will lead the cafe-restaurant. The hotel has 80-person hall and a bar. At the end of the day, jazz and classic music evenings will be held for guests.
For the purpose of popularization of Georgia’s culture and tourism potential, two projects have been developed for the hotel visitors: culture and exclusive wellness tours. Qualified guides and medical staff trained in Israel will serve the tours.
A small boutique-hotel has been created by investing 3.5 million USD private investment from Israel. This fact signifies that Israeli investors are oriented on developing high-level products in Georgia, Itsik Moshe, president of the Georgia-Israel Chamber of Business, noted.
“The hotel concept is based on motives of the Knight in Tiger’s Skin poem to stress Georgia is the country of culture too, not only cuisine and picturesque views. All our guests will know about Rustaveli and his poem, receive information about ancient and contemporary Georgian culture, receive top level services, listen to jazz, classical music, taste healthy dishes and drinks”, Itsik Moshe noted.
As reported: at this stage, under the aegis of Georgia-Israel Chamber of Business, five projects of top-class hotels are being carried out. Rustaveli Boutique Hotel is one of these projects. Other four ones will be completed in several months.
The decision on implementing projects by Israeli investments was taken in Jerusalem in August 2015, at the forum that was held by initiative of Georgia-Israel Chamber of Business and by support of Tbilisi City Hall. Total value of all five projects makes up 100 million USD.
