Giorgi Ramishvili, chairman of Supervisory Board of Silk Road Group declares that economic problems are overcome in the country, the government is working well and the fact that tourists number is increasing is a very good signal to everyone.
“I think good times are ahead of us”, – said Ramishvili.
Relying on the example of Radisson Blu Iveria and Radisson Blu Batumi, Ramishvili notes that their guests are mostly from the neighboring countries. Their number is increased from Iran. According to the businessman, regular flights will be crucial, which is the biggest challenge by now.
Ramishvili has responded to the 3rd Conference of the Mountain Resorts of Europe and Asia and noted that the forum is very important and it is good that the government is active to this direction.
“The government is making significant investments in winter resorts, infrastructure and such forums attract potential investors to Georgian mountain resorts”, – Ramishvili said and believes that the development of air traffic will be crucial for development of tourism in the future.
