GHG to Invest 50 Million in the Hospital Sector this Year

Georgian Healthcare Group will implement investment of several million in the hospital sector, – Nika Gamkrelidze, head of the Group has declared to BusinessContract.

According to him, two new hospitals will be opened this year and the Group will spend 50 million USD.

“We are one of the largest investors in the country through the last years. We are opening two hospitals in the country this year, where 2500 persons will be employed. The investment volume equals to 50 million USD. One will be opened in February, while the other until the end of the second year. We are actively developing in the pharmaceutical sector and we have interesting plans in this sector as well”, – Nika Gamkrelidze declared.

Georgian Healthcare Group supervises medical corporation EVEX and insurance company Imedi L and the Group is one of the largest providers of medical insurance and healthcare services in the country.
