According to the rating of internationally registered written correspondence published by the International Postal Union Prime (140 member country), Georgia included in the top ten list of PostEurop member countries.
Following countries are listed in top ten: Switzerland, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Ireland, Malta, Russia, Slovenia, Lithuania and Denmark.
“This rating confirms the correct management of the Georgian Post and hard work by each employee. It’s like the Georgian mail, as well as country’s recognition by the European community, for which we have worked very hard and we are happy to have such important results. ” – says Levan Chikvaidze, General Director of the Georgian Post.
PostEurop is the European Community Postal Service, founded in 1993 in Brussels and incorporates 52 postal operators from 49 countries. The aim of the organization is to support the development of postal businesses and strengthen partnerships between members, as well as sustainable growth of international postal products and continuous innovation.
