Crosty company started production of male and female footwear since November 2016. Georgian footwear may be bought from any part of the world in online format. At the same time, Georgian brand products are sold at one of the prestigious stores of New-York – Wold Badger.
In autumn, the company products will appear in Tokyo and Stockholm brand stores. The company founders aim to sell their products at all Metropolitan cities of the world.
Giorgi Mikaia launched business jointly with his brother 2 years ago – they import raw materials from Italy, while production plant is located in Kutaisi.
“Our product is not of lower quality compared to other footwear brands. We import raw materials from the same plant, which serve the world’s leading brands.
We wanted to make a high-quality footwear brand and we are eager to introduce Made in Georgia products onto the world map.
The plant arrangement works took 18 month. We invited trainers from Italy. We could manufacture products in Italy and this proces would be cheaper, because we import all materials from Italy, but our goal is to establish Georgia on the global market”, Giorgi Mikaia told Business Course.
“At this stage our objective is to move from the startup category to the brand segment. We plan to enter several stores at once. We follow our development plan.
Georgia will never be able to arrange massive production of similar products, because the country lacks of raw materials”, Giorgi Mikaia said.
