Georgian Food Catches Great Attention At Riga Food Festival

From September 3-5 Georgia will participate at the 20th Riga Food Festival – an annual international festival bringing together cuisine from all over the world.

The event is the Baltic region’s largest food show and this year is hosting cuisines from 36 nations.

Georgian juice and jam company Kula, nut factories Nutex, Euronuts and Saga-2008, beer manufacturer Zedazeni and mineral water producer Tskali Margebeli will represent the country and establish contacts with future European trading partners.

The Georgian corner will also encompass a variety of other products including, tea, lemonade, mineral water, energy drinks, beer varieties, jams, nuts and other food products.

The Riga Food Festival is a popular event and is expected to be attended by more than 40,000 visitors over the course of the four-day expo.

Event organisers said the festival will outline the trends of the food industry development and unite more than 682 companies to taste new products, watch and learn from professional chefs and participate in pastry cooking and bartender competitions.
