Georgia Imported 101.9 million USD Cigarettes in 2017

According to Geostat, national statistics service of Georgia, in 2017 Georgia imported 101.9 million USD cigarettes., up 240 000 pieces year on year (101.6 million USD), but down 11% compared to 2014 (114.9 million USD).

In turn, the year of 2017 recorded an upturn in imports of cigars and cigarillos. The country imported cigars of 651 000 USD, up 39% compared to 2016. IN whole, according to Geostat, 8.8 billion pieces of cigarettes were imported to Georgia in 2017.
