Gemuani, a fruit-processing enterprise, plans to export finished products to foreign markets.Namely, the company plans to export products to Near East, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and several European countries.
“The company receives orders in advance for almost all 100% of products that will be manufactured for a period of one year”, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili told government meeting on March 23.
The company has introduced a new fruit-processing technology by assistance of Government and Basisbank. As a result, Georgian fruits maintain 98% of vitamins and micro-elements thanks to special processing technology.
A total of 851 024 USD was invested in Gemuani, an enterprise of sublimed fruits, of which 250 000 USD is grant and 484 512 USD is a preferential agro credit.
Government has also transmitted real estate to the enterprise – an abandoned outdated enterprise that has been already transformed into a modern-standard company.
