Galleria Tbilisi: We Make Focus on Affordable Brands Instead of Premium Ones

Galleria Tbilisi is actively getting ready from the opening.

The mall, locating on 22 000 square mere in the centre of Tbilisi, will be opened in autumn. It includes over 100 facilities – various brand shops, restaurants.

It is already known, that “Goodwill” and famous retailer H&M will be presented at the centre. H&M should be one of the largest objects, which plans to master 3000 square m area.

“H&M enters Georgia in a direct manner without franchising. So, their collections and prices will be equivalent of other countries”, – Nika Tsintsadze, director of Galleria Tbilisi declared to GBC.

However, the company does not specify which brands will be presented in the centre. They declare that bands will make a comment linked to this issue. However, they note that focus will be made on affordable retail brands instead of premium ones.

The company mentions that 30% of the brands represented in Galleria are not entered yet Georgian market. However, these bands will be exclusively available in Galleria Tbilisi.

To note, Co-Investment Fund makes investment of 80 million USD in the project. The building is unique with the integrated metro station and Al. Grioboedov State Theatre and “Tavisupali Teatri” (Free Theatre).
