Fuel Imports Declined by 36.6 thousand Tons

In August Georgia imported 94.4 thousand tons of oil products (petrol and diesel), down 36.6 thousand tons compared to the July indicators.

According to the Union of Oil Products Importers, petrol imports made up 49.5 thousand tons, down 5.1 thousand tons, while diesel imports marked 44.9 thousand tons, down 31.5 thousand tons.

Due to fuel category, in August 2016 Georgia imported 36 000 tons of A-91 Regular petrol (72.7%), 12 500 tons of A-95 Premium petrol (25.3%) and 1 000 tons of A-98 Super petrol (2%).

As to Diesel fuel, Georgia imported 39.7 thousand tons of 50PPM (Euro Diesel – 88.4%) and 5.2 thousand tons of L-62 diesel (11.6%).
