“I like Georgian products very much and either I would do shoppings in Georgia or buy Georgian Products in Britain”, EBRD President told Business Course, when visiting Materia Fashion House.
Access to GEL-denominated financial resources is one of the key challenges for Georgian businessmen, Suma Chakrabarti said.
“Foreign currency denominated loans bring risks for small and medium businesses”, Chakrabarti pointed out. The EBRD president made accent on EBRD project EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, which will allocate a credit line for Georgian business. Materia Fashion House is participant of this project, which was visited by the EBRD President jointly with EU ambassador to Georgia.
The EBRD President started his visit to Georgia on September 5. He met with Georgian government officials. Today, on September 6, the EBRD President will participate in meeting of the Investors Board, which is an independent consulting body at Georgian Prime Minister.
