CHINA TIANCHEN ENGEERING CORPORATION (CTEC) will supposedly carry construction of combined cycle hydro power plant of 230 mgwt in Gardabani.
China-based company has been selected at the base of price inquiry conducted by Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation. CTEC offers construction of HPP at 159.013 million USD to the Corporation, which had been the lowest price among the costs of 7 companies. Respectively, works are carried on preparation of a project documentation.
To remind, the new power plant should be built along the existed one. Combined cycle hydro power plant of 230 mgwt in Gardabani was opened in summer of the previous year. To note, 230 million USD has been spent for the implementation of the project. The investment was carried by JSC “Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation” and JSC “Partnership Fund”. Its construction was made by the biggest Turkish company ÇALIK ENERJİ, which participated in the tender this year as well.
