Businessman Anzor Kokoladze Predicts Economic Crisis in Georgia in Spring

The country will face an economic crisis in the spring. Techno Boom founder Anzor  Kokoladze told “Commersant”. According to him, the country has a difficult situation from economic and political point of view which naturally will affect the business.

Kokoladze notes that  the country expects a difficult spring, it will be a crisis, but not similar to Ukrainian and Russian. The businessman predicts that the crisis in the neighboring countries  will affect Georgia which will be perceptible for an  ordinary consumer.

Kokoladze notes that in  the first half of 2014, a significant economic recovery was observed, which is reflected in the statistical indicators.

As for the  last months of the year, in the words of the businessman,  the growth rate was declining, despite the fact that the country’s business environment was free from pressure.

Anzor Kokoladze notes that if the new government  had not freed  the business environment, economic performance would have been much worse.

The businessman assesses the year of 2014 saying  that it was positive for the company. But he also speaks about a lot of unreachable goals. However,  this year was a turning point for Techno Boom.

In particular, in 2013 the company took 5-6th  position in terms of  sales while in  2014 – moved to the second position. In  November, the company has moved into the first place in terms of monthly sales. The company experienced a 125 percent increase.
