Georgian Business Ombudsman’s office will also engage in discussions of disputes arisen during electronic tenders and competitions.
Corresponding changes were made to the Law on State Procurement, which has been already published in Legislative Herald. Amendments regulate procedures of staffing Disputes Discussion Board of State Procurement.
A representative of the Business Ombudsman will engage in the board staff and operation if supposed value of state procurement equals to or exceeds the monetary verge determined by EU instructions in state procurement”, the bill reads.
Amount of monetary verges is reflected in normative acts, which are being developed and will be published in the near future.
Besides one representatives of Business Ombudsman, in similar case one representative from Competition Agency, Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Academic Circles will be also involved in the Disputes Discussion Board.
