Business and Technology University Initiates Coding School For Women
Business and Technology University has been working on the project aiming at creation of a coding school for women; the project will entail intensive the training course on Android Development mobile application.
At the end of the project, women who successfully complete the six months course will be able to work independently on the development of various mobile applications.
The main objective of the initiative is to encourage active participation of women in the area of information technology and enable them to secure jobs in the field
In 2018 University joined the Women’s Empowerment Principals (WEPs) – joint initiative of UN Women and UN Global Compact- and drafted the action plan. A 2-year action plan includes different activities in order to empower women at the workplace, marketplace and society, focusing on the activities aiming at supporting engagement of women in technologies.
