Beeline Recommends the Government to Open the Corporate Market

“Beeline” (LLC Mobitel) protests change of corporate procurement conditions of mobile network for the state agencies.

According to the company, the service procurement conditions are corrected so that “Beeline” can no longer meet them.

“It has been prompted to cover 55% of the country’s territory by 3G network. Beeline covers 50% now and the company will overcome the new parameter within 3 months. Moreover, price is also increased by the tender”, – the company’s statement said.

“Beeline” wants the corporate market open and the state department will choose the operator itself – “when the more space is open, it will benefit to all – the consumer, the state and three operators”.

To remind, only Beeline submitted proposal on corporate services of state agencies in the tender announced on January 26-30. However, the company was meeting all the requirements requested by the tender. But the tender was declared as failed and the company had been disqualified.

The company filed a suit at the Civil Court. However, the tender has been announced afresh on March 17 before the discussion.

“Beeline” has pointed on the duopoly of the market repeatedly, which is not shared by GeoCell and director of the company has called on the competitor from the media to the increase the coverage area, so it “will be able to participate in the tenders.”
