In the second quarter of 2017, averaged monthly salary in the business sector totaled 1106.9 GEL, up 128.8 GEL year on year, including the figure for women made up 816.3 GEL, up 88.8 GEL year on year.
According to Geostat indicators, averaged monthly salaries due to the size of enterprises are as follows:
Major business – 1196 GEL
Medium business – 1304.8 GEL
Small business – 892.2 GEL
In the second quarter of 2017 the highest ratio in business sector turnover structure was registered in commerce sector (45.9%), including automobiles and bicycles.
The processing industry ranks second with 12.4% ratio. Development sector is third with 10.1% ratio. Art, entertainment and recreation sectors rank fourth with 7.8%. Transport and storage service sectors rank fifth with 6.3%. Electricity and gas supply sector is sixth with 3.7% ratio, and all other sectors’ ratio accounts for 13.9%.
In the second quarter of 2017, the major ratio in business sector output was registered in processing industry (21.7%). Development sector ranks second with 20.9% and trading is third with 16.9%. Transport and storage service sector ranks fourth with 9.2%, while all other sector account for 31.3%.
In the second quarter of 2017, in terms of quantity of employers, the trading sector (wholesale and retail trades; vehicles and bicycle repairs) accounts for 25%. Processing industry – 13.7% and development sector – 10.9%/, healthcare and social services – 10.4%, transport and communications – 8.1%
