Rosenbauer Austrian company plans to launch production of firefighting equipment in Georgia. The decision was taken at the meeting between Giorgi Mghebrisvhili, head of Emergency Service and Dieter Siegel, executive director for Rosenbauer company. The meeting was held at the head office of Rosenbauer company.
The parties noted that Rosenbauer will launch production on basis of Delta research center. Georgia has ambitious plans to renew firefighting equipment and allocate considerable resources in this direction, Giorgi Mghebrishvili said.
“We are moving to a new phase of development. The time has come to fully re-equip firefighting equipment in Georgia. We have chosen Rosenbauer company to implement our plans. We have serious expectations for fruitful cooperation. We are discussing this project seriously and this issue will be decided on the level of a Prime Minister”, Giorgi Mghebrishvili said.
Rosenbauer is interested to assemble the first Georgia-Austrian firefighting vehicle as soon as possible, the company executive director noted.
“I am happy that Georgia has huge plans for purchasing firefighting equipment. We are ready for all forms of cooperation. We are oriented on quality and reliability. The warranty period for Rosenabauer vehicles is 25 years”, Dieter Siegel said.
At the meeting the parties took decision that in the near future Rosenbauer company, Emergency Service and Delta research center will sign a trilateral agreement. Giorgi Mghebrishvili invited the Rosenbauer executive director to Georgia.
