Ardi among Leaders by Volume of Loss Payments and Premiums

The success and stability of insurance companies is determined  not only by raised premiums, but  the amount of loss payments. This criterion is often ignored  while evaluating the insurance companies and the main emphasis is done on premiums, while one of the major determinants of the company’s credibility and strength is the amount paid by  insurance company for losses.
The Insurance Supervision Department  published the results of payments in compensation for loss  in  nine months, according to which, Ardi turned out to be  one of the leaders.

According to the report on the activity of insurance companies during 3 quarters, Ardi takes the fourth place  by volume of loss payments.

As per data for 9 months of the current year, Ardi has paid a loss in the amount of GEL 10 million.

According to the report, the top five is as follows: Aldagi and Imedi  L take the first place (GEL 32 036 464), followed by GPI Holding (GEL 25 443 375), PSP Insurance ( GEL 10 262 301),  Ardi (GEL 9 745 225) and the fifth place is  occupied by  IRAO (9 471 724).

Health insurance (48%), property insurance (16%) and vehicle insurance (14%) are named the most popular products in the insurance sector. It should be noted that in all three areas Ardi is among stable taxpayers.

Ardi  also takes a stable leading position in the top five by premium volume.

According to  the data for 3 quarters, Aldagi and Imedi L lead by premium volume (34.2%), followed by  GPI Holding – 26,6%, IRAO – 9.5%, Ardi – 8.2%, Unison – 5.6%.

The company steadily maintains a leadership position throughout the year.

The insurance company Ardi was among the leaders on results of 6 months. Then Business Development Director at Ardi Group  Mikheil Japaridze said that the insurance market had grown  compared with the same period of the previous year.
