Another Low-cost Airline Enters Georgia

Visa liberalization with the European Union has interested in another “low-cost” airline to enter Georgia – the head of the Georgian Airports Association does not name the company, but notes that this airline has been previously interested in Georgia but they have no desire to start negotiations in depth.

“A meeting was held with their initiative at one of the recent Aviation Forums, where it was stated that visa liberalization was one of the driving forces and they were thinking to bring quite a lot of traffic for Georgia by next year,” – said Keti Aleksidze.

According to him, it is about launching flights from Kutaisi Airport, as well as from Tbilisi.

It is noteworthy that Ryanair had a desire to enter Georgia in previous years, but Aleksidze did not specify the same company.
