Aldagi Subsidiary Premium Residence Enters Vehicles Technical Inspection Business

Premium Residence owned by Aldagi Insurance company, subsidiary of Georgia Capital, has won a state tender. The company will open 51 vehicles technical inspection facilities all over Georgia.

According to Georgia-EU association agreement, Georgia will carry out technical inspection of vehicles in several stages. The first part of inspection started in January 2018 and all vehicles will be inspected in 2 years, by the end of 2019.

Technical inspection fee for motorcars is 60 GEL and for trucks – 100 GEL. According to Aldagi estimations, investments of about 35-40 million GEL are required for the reform implementation. Aldagi cooperates with Spanish company Applus+, which is the world’s leading in testing, certifying and inspection. The Spanish company is represented in 70 countries. After accreditation Aldagi supposes the company will launch operation at the end of 2018.

“Service industry is very attractive in Georgia and I have the honor to represent Aldagi company in vehicles inspection business. The sector’s revenues will be about 55-65 million GEL as a result of new regulations. And the company is expected to hold 36% market ratio. Expansion project will enable aldagi to develop a unique platform and employ the sector’s potential”, Irakli Gilauri, Georgia Capital executive director noted.
