Ajara Will try to Interest Iranian Investors

Government of Ajara tries to attract Iranian investments in the region. Zurab Pataradze, chairman of Government of Ajara has already met with General Consul of Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Mashhad and discussed trade-economic cooperation issues.

Business-forums are scheduled in the region. The matter concerned to agriculture in the mountainous Ajara, attraction of Iranian businessmen, introduction of new innovative projects, establishment of joint stock companies. They have talked about the future prospects of cooperation.

“It is important for us to have cultural and humanitarian, trade and tourism cooperation with Iran, which is a country with a great culture and civilization. I think the cooperation that exists between regions, will be more productive and further extended”, – Zurab Pataradze noted.

Iran is one of the interesting market for Ajara. It should be noted, that visitors number is significantly increased after restoration of VISA free regime.
